Ever dreamed of spending a holiday in a remote 19th century sea fort? Well thanks to No Man’s Fort in Portsmouth, that fantasy is now a reality. The 19th Century sea fort is located one mile off the south coast of England and was originally built to protect Portsmouth from the threat of Napoleon III. The one-and-a-half century old building has now been fully restored and offers 22 luxury hotel rooms to its lucky guests. The fort is more than just a hotel though and also features its own lighthouse (available to hire for £700 per night), rooftop hot tub and decking with an open fire. The facilities are just as impressive inside too, with the hotel including a nightclub, Laser Quest, a snooker room and even its own private spa. Plus the views not bad either!
