A Wedding and Prison Sentence in One
In terms of unique weddings, few would be able to beat the ceremony between Larry Austin and Dustie Trojack in September 2012. Mr Austin was up in Oklahoma County Court on weapon charges but, before pleading guilty, Austin managed to get the judge to agree to marry him and his long term girlfriend, Trojak. Judge Jerry Bass sentenced Mr Austin to 4 years in federal prison on a firearm charge but then stayed true to his word and married the (un)happy couple just minutes later. The newlyweds had time for a quick kiss to seal the marriage before Mr Austin was taken away to start his honeymoon in jail!
