Superhero Wedding
Many people see their other halves as heroes, but Neil Vaughan and Sharon Wetherell from Devon, England, took this term a little too literally. The couple decided to have a ‘superhero’ themed wedding in July 2010, with Neil dressing up as Batman and Sharon coming as Wonder Woman. Guests were also encouraged to come as comic book heroes and duly obliged, with Superman, The Incredibles, Spiderman and The Joker all making an appearance, plus Robin as the best man of course. Although the ceremony may have looked extravagant, the costumes actually cost far less than the usual wedding entire, with Neil spending around £200 on his Batman costume and Sharon spending just £100 on her Wonder Woman attire.
