A Wedding with 110 Bridesmaids
Most brides struggle to pick three or four bridesmaids to be part of their big day, so spare a thought for Jill Stapleton, who had to choose a record breaking 110! The gymnastics and dance teacher from Ohio, USA, decided to drop tradition and invite all of her students to be bridesmaids at her wedding. The ceremony took place in June 2010, with Jill and her fiancee, Chad Greenhill, describing it as their ‘dream wedding.’ The couple easily beat the previous world record which stood at a measly 90 bridesmaids, pah!
