The Ordinary House With An Incredible Interior

This house in Newport, Oregon looks pretty normal from the outside and could be mistaken for pretty much any 21st century home in the US, but one step inside the property and its incredible and ancient interior is revealed. The home is owned by Almine Barton, the right and honourable Dowager Countess of Shannon and is decorated in the style of a Renaissance-era castle. The walls are covered in silk, the doors are made from carved oak, the furniture dates back hundreds of years and even the stained glass windows were imported all the way from Lancaster Cathedral in England.
