Cliff diving is one of the most dangerous extreme sports in the world, so performing the highest cliff dive ever attempted takes some real bravery. Step forward Laso Schaller; a Brazilian daredevil who achieved just that in August 2015 and leaped from the Cascata del Salto, a 192 ft high waterfall in Switzerland. The leap of faith saw Schaller jump off a specially constructed platform at the top of the cliff and land in a small pool at the bottom of the waterfall. To put his achievements into perspective: the jump was 10 ft higher than the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Schaller was travelling at 74mph when he hit the water. The term ‘brave’ doesn’t even cover it!
